Releasing tomorrow.
Some of the must-have shoes over the past two years have definitely been from Salomon. Although originally a hiking sneaker, putting them in a fashion context makes them look seamless and effortless when dressed up or down; the shoe is both versatile and sleek in its design, making it the perfect everyday style.
But what if you were to tamper with its versatility and simplicity, pushing it to the limits of design and creating something that’s almost irreverent to the other Salomon models? Enter MM6 Maison Margiela as they put their spin on Salomon’s Cross Low and High models.
The Salomon Cross Low arrives in three colourways including black and white, red and pink and multicolour khaki and grass green as well as featuring a plethora of technical attributes such as a built-in ripstop gaiter, a reinterpreted lug sole and an inner mesh slip-on shoe. The Cross Highs, however, only come in two colourways: black and white and red and pink. Much like the Low iteration, the only difference is that this model features a high, ankle cut – which mimics the look of MM6’s signature ‘6’ heel boot – as well as the absence of the gaiter for a more conventional look and feel.
