This is most definitely streetwear royalty.
Stussy x Converse One Star
Returning to fill yet another slot in the sneaker round-up are Stussy and Converse, who have joined forces once again for another iteration of the famous One Star sneaker. Debuting in a light green colourway, adding yet another dose of autumn to this week’s roster, the pair don One Star’s typical low-lying shape and Stussy’s signature 8-ball emblem, which takes its place on the midfoot panelling. Additional details include Converse’s classic white and black piped midsole, a collaboratively-branded tongue patch, metallic hardware eyelets, as well as white upper stitching and a set of black laces. A no-brainer.
Nike SB Dunk Low 'Why So Sad?'
Coming in hot once more are Nike, who have released an old-school SB Dunk Low titled ‘Why So Sad?’. Being reminiscent of the brand’s iconic ‘Pigeon’ SB Dunks, this new pair stick to a tried and tested formula, utilising typical SB Dunk features like rich suede materials, fattened tongues and laces, as well as clean upper panelling. Arriving in a mixed light blue, navy and red colourway, the pair also rock a white midsole and a semi-translucent outsole, a traditional Nike midfoot emblem, a rear heel ‘Biking Pigeon’ stitched graphic, as well as a wear-away tongue which fades to unveil a mixed shade of yellow. The dream skater shoe.
Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog
Being without doubt one of the most continuously stellar releases of this past year is the Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog, which has now been reimagined in a vibrant ‘Peach’ colourway. Inserting another autumn-ready colourway into the mix, Bembury’s latest features the typical finger-print style upper imprint, darkened strapping and toe box features, as well as the silhouette’s signature perforated toe. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
maharishi x Reebok LT Court Hemp
Completing this week’s line-up are Reebok and London-born streetwear brand maharishi, who have stepped forward with an eco-friendly version of the sportswear giant’s LT Court sneaker. Debuting in a ‘Hemp’ colourway and composition, the pair boast a multi-textured upper, an aged cream midsole, as well as hits of khaki green on the outsole, sock lining, and upper maharishi branding. If you fancy straying away from the status quo, Reebok is always a good place to start.
