Breaking the boundaries of time and distance to tell the story of the post-pandemic world, Feng Chen Wang x UGG come together once again for a capsule that, this time, includes apparel in addition to footwear. The campaign reimagines four cities in the form of New York, Paris, London and Shanghai at different times as the set is fabricated through real and illusionary imagery – intended to represent the Metaverse.
The gender-neutral collection follows the Chinese designer’s signature design codes of reconstruction and multiple functionalities as the pieces such as the jackets and boots are made modular through the detachable sleeves and boot liners. The coherent motif in this capsule is definitely the inclusion of fur and fleece-like textures that can be seen on both the jackets and bottoms.
