Brand of the moment Diesel have taken things up a level for Spring/Summer 2023 as the Glenn Martens-led fashion house unveil their “Pleasure Island” campaign.
Putting forward a forward-thinking mission status where “all desires, kinks and indulgences are welcome, whilst all judgmental attitudes are not”, Diesel’s latest creative venture sees the Italian brand embrace all shapes and sizes for their model line-up, with vibrant imagery being captured through the lens of photographer Johnny Dufort and creatively-led by art director Chris Simmonds. Encapsulating the globally-appreciated idea of “letting your hair down”, Diesel’s SS23′ campaign pictures the models clad in signature house colours, pieces, and materials, with denim, swimsuits, acid-wash designs, metallic hardware and Diesel emblems adorning a host of staples. From the pool to the bedroom to even the club, “Pleasure Island” captures the individual draw of each fun-loving location, with some standout garments spotted throughout including a metallic-style ‘D’ logo skirt, a pair of washed black oversized denim cargo pants, as well as a blue faded denim corset top.
