In a London-shot campaign photographed by Valeria Herklotz and styled by Eliza Conlon, Toga Virilis takes its Americana-Japanese designs to the streets of London for its new Spring/Summer 2023 lookbook.
Founder of the brand, Yasuko Furuta, takes a more preppy approach this time around, including plain and patterned shirting, tonal ties and pleated trousers. Cardigans and long shorts add to the collegiate undertone present whilst vacation vibes are in full force with embroidered jellyfish, pine tree and pineapple patterns that are present on shirting. Oversized cuts synonymous with Japanese fashion are intertwined with Americana detailing through Western metal hits for a collection that cohesively aligns with the luxury brand’s design language.
