Launching their First Collaboration.
Iconic streetwear outfit BAPE and vintage-themed brand ©SAINT Mxxxxxx have joined forces for the first time to release a co-branded range of essentials to celebrate BAPE’s 30th anniversary.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, BAPE’s latest follows on from their recent efforts with the likes of Porter and Comme des Garçons and continues their collaborative voyage, with 2020-born brand ©SAINT Mxxxxxx being the latest brand to come into the fold. BAPE have recruited Readymade founder and designer Yuta Hosokawa alongside artist artist Cali Dewitt for this capsule, with the three graphic t-shirts included in the line-up being given a reimagined version of BAPE’s iconic ape motif, working with ©SAINT Mxxxxxx’s unique design standpoint. With each of the t-shirts, the vintage-style touch from ©SAINT Mxxxxxx is evident, with some standout graphics from the capsule including one seemingly inspired by animated series, Beavis and Butt-Head, as the iconic characters receive an Ape-like makeover featuring the distinct co-branding of both entities, whilst a comical black and white “SAINT APE” typical proves to be the most striking out of the line-up.
The BAPE x ©SAINT Mxxxxxx capsule collection will be available to shop on April 29th via both brands’ websites.
