'To Own Less is to Own More'.
Feng Chen Wang throws the rule book straight out of the window (shock) for her debut collaborative endeavour with sportswear giants, Nike as the experimental designer remixes staple athleisure silhouettes through her signature overconstructed design codes and innovative methods of engineered artistry.
Placing Feng’s mantra ‘to own less is to own more’ at its nucleus, the collection’s standout piece comes in the form of the Transform Jacket. Designed to be worn in more than 30 ways (yes, you read that right), the ultra-versatile garment features an abundance of removable components that not only enable the garment to adapt to its surroundings but also elevate the initiative’s sustainability appeal thanks to its endless styling potential.
“Like Nike, I aim to create more inclusive and sustainable products. This jacket is a perfect example of how products can be designed with inclusiveness and versatility in mind, making them suitable for everyone,” says Feng Chen Wang.
Accompanied by structurally engineered knits including a crop top, bra, and tights, the Feng Chen Wang x Nike collection will be available globally from September 28th both online and at select Nike retailers.
