Moncler Genius’ desire to get in and around a wide selection of high-flying brands puts them ahead of many other leading fashion houses and their respective sub-labels, with this newest joint effort between themselves and Palm Angels being their most pointed yet.
The duo’s relationship started earlier this year in February when Moncler hosted their ‘Art of Genius’ exhibition in London, with an eventual joint Palm Angels collection dropping later in June. For FW23′, the duo have wasted no time in getting started for the new season, inserting their design styles into several fun-loving, vibrant designs. Utilising a host of signature outerwear silhouettes, Moncler Genius x Palm Angels gives off a particularly vintage vibe, something Palm Angels creative director Francesco Ragazzi recently acknowledged, with the 90s providing a creative landscape in which to base his latest garments off of. The gender-neutral range reinterprets some ‘preppy’ looks and turns them into adaptable outerwear pieces, with typical materials being rehashed into down jackets and more everyday-ready coats. Some standouts from the wide-ranging selection of garments includes a large canvas tote bag adorned with green accents and Moncler Genius x Palm Angels co-branding, an ‘Easter’ colour palette down jacket boasting a textured knitted collar, a similarly designed knitted puffer jacket in cream, in addition to a large signature yellow puffer jacket. Alternate pieces include oversized jeans, caps, beanies, tracksuit pants, and signature sunglasses.
The latest Moncler Genius x Palm Angels collection will be available to shop on October 26th via both brands’ websites.
