A Moment.
It seems as though we finally have confirmation about the legitimacy of Slawn’s recently teased collaboration with Supreme, with the aforementioned artist stepping forward with a trio of unofficial t-shirts adorned with the streetwear titans’ iconic name and moniker.
Having just last week unveiled a sneak peek at what was to come, British-Nigerian artist Slawn has both officially and unofficially come forward with another opinion-splitting release, debuting a selection of self-designed Supreme Box Logo t-shirts. Declaring it himself, Slawn’s website has been updated with the reasonably-priced wardrobe mainstays alongside a confirmation of the legitimacy of this “collaborative” release, stating: “THIS IS NOT REAL SUPREME.” The three graphic t-shirts don’t stray too far away from Supreme’s design DNA, with the iconic outfit’s central box logo sitting pretty on the middle of these pieces, being adorned with some colourful Slawn motif graffiti artwork. Slawn doubles down on the illegitimacy of this not so joint effort, reiterating the rhetoric “THIS IS NOT REAL SUPREME” on the back of the t-shirts in scribbled typeface, rounding out the look with a subtle box logo as well as his artist signature.
