Back to the Roots.
Martine Rose x Clarks is the gift that keeps on giving, and for Fall/Winter 2024, the British-Jamaican designer puts forward her energetic “Coming Up Roses” campaign.
The guests guest creative director looks to the unrivalled comfort of Clarks as main point of inspiration for this newest campaign, with Martine Rose remixing new classics for the second instalment of her ongoing partnership with the footwear outfit, whilst additionally bringing two more styles into the family. Shot by Sharna Osborne in the woodlands of Somerset, England – which is where Clarks was founded over 200 years ago – the FW24 campaign champions the great outdoors here, meeting devoted arborists and foresters from the local area. Bringing both Clarks and Martine Rose in their world, born outdoors men and women scale are snapped climbing hundred-year-old pine trees or kicking back after, all the while wearing an unexpected pink heel, The Sling, or a tangerine orange iteration of The Clog. Furthermore, last season’s sought-after styles – including The Oxford and The Loafer – are also available, boasting a pillow-like feel whilst being streamlined with technical fabric uppers. As per usual, the Clarks Wallabee inspires as Martine Rose revisits The Torhill Hi, bringing in walnut brown faux-croc composition. One thing is clear with this latest dose of Martine Rose x Clarks: comfort is king.
The second instalment of Martine Rose x Clarks is available to buy now via the Martine Rose and Clarks websites.
