Functionality in fashion never looked so good as MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon reunite for their first ever ready-to-wear collection.
Utilising the technical prowess of heritage hiking outfit Salomon and the sleek touch of class that MM6 Maison Margiela typically provides, this newest entry into the lineage of MM6 x Salomon sees both outfits find a happy medium, fusing together historical codes of practical outerwear and refined minimalism. Welcoming a range of footwear, outerwear, clothing, and accessories, the newest winter-ready selection sees some Gore-Tex pieces lead the way, boasting breathable and water-repellent fabric for the utmost protection, as seen on tonal windbreakers and technical trousers. The other half of the collection sees the Seamless set of garments take control, utilising stretch technology to form more comfort-centric and trimmed silhouettes for the modern outdoorsy fashion-lover.
It wouldn’t be an MM6 x Salomon collaboration without some footwear, with the wholly redesigned Salomon ACS PRO 2 MM6 Maison Margiela running shoe going up to bat. A caged structure is the outward standout from this previously seen pair, arriving in two tonal white/grey and triple black colourways, whilst a matching XT-6 also features. Lastly, the Cross Low MM6 Maison Margiela re-emerges in some vibrant colourways, including pink/red and beige/green.
The latest MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon collection will release on November 7th.
