Louis Vuitton Unveils New Flagship Store in New York City

Taking All Over The City.

You have probably seen the big trunk building taking over NYC, and yes, it’s Louis Vuitton. The Maison has unveiled its largest-ever concept store in the United States—a five-story immersive shopping destination on 57th Street in Manhattan. Just steps away from its iconic flagship, which is now closed for a multi-year renovation, this temporary space brings together all of Louis Vuitton’s métiers and introduces the first-ever Louis Vuitton chocolatier in the U.S.
This new temporary space is a visual spectacle, with its open atrium featuring freestanding sculptures by OMA architect Shohei Shigematsu, nodding to the Maison’s trunk-making legacy. Each floor of the store offers a distinct universe: leather goods on the first, womenswear on the second, menswear on the third, and a culinary destination, Le Café Louis Vuitton, on the fourth. Partnering with NYC’s Starr restaurant group, the café is an elegant, library-style retreat offering gourmet dishes and chocolates from Chocolat Maxime Frédéric, another first for the U.S.
The fifth floor brings a mix of exclusivity and artistry, featuring three private salons, retail lounges, and dedicated spaces for Objets Nomades and Art de la Table collections. Tucked away is a secret loft-style room showcasing high jewelry and watches, providing a hidden treasure within this expansive space.
Take a look into the newly open store below.
