Asics Aces Collaboration with A.P.C.

Fusing Tennis Performance With Elevated Style.

Asics has teamed up with French fashion label A.P.C. on a tennis-inspired collection, suited to on-court performance and off-court fashionability.

The collection comprises 20 pieces dedicated to the sport and 30 subsequent garments for leisure. On the court, unisex pieces prevail, including crew dresses, sleeveless tops and 2 in 1 shorts designed for peak performance. The men’s look is similar, with a lot of cut-offs, and 5-inch inseams reigning supreme.

Off the court is a different story. The brands drew from Asics Japanese heritage and A.P.C’s iconic French je ne sais quoi on effortless styles for all. Ombre colour palettes are seen on a particular pair of joggers and matching jackets, emphasizing the calm energy that radiates from the capsule. The majority of the collection is designed for maximum comfort, strung across crewneck sweaters, athletic leaning windbreakers and oversized t-shirts.

It wouldn’t be an Asics drop without sneakers, and the Gel-Kayano 14 leads the pack. With a brown sole tailored to on-court fashion, the sneaker is available in all white with silver details or black with grey and white hits.

Asics and A.P.C.’s collaborative project is available online on both sides’ websites, as well as in-store, on April 5th. Check out the campaign imagery below.
