Inspired by the 80s.
For the first time, Converse and KENZO have joined forces to create a footwear collection that seamlessly combines Converse’s iconic legacy with KENZO’s signature vibrant energy.
Renowned for its distinctive and eclectic vision, KENZO is celebrated for its artful blending of cultural aesthetics, all while radiating a contagious sense of optimism. The fashion house’s playful and free-spirited approach shines through in its bold colours, striking prints, unique style, and dynamic silhouettes.
Driven by KENZO’s artistic director Nigo’s personal admiration for the Chuck Taylor All Star, the collaboration presents a revitalised vision of Converse’s cherished silhouette. Layered with a sense of nostalgia, the partnership authentically celebrates the distinct spirit of both brands.
Featuring the Chuck 70 in high-top and two low-top versions, the collection is defined by KENZO’s all-over Hana Leopard motif. The print, a vibrant blend of inspiration from both brands’ 80s archives, revisits KENZO’s era-defining graphics and Converse’s initial embrace of fashion patterns. Other colourways include ‘Sweet Corn,’ ‘Pink Cosmos’ and ‘Cypress.’
The Converse x KENZO collaboration launches on April 17th, at Kenzo.com and Kenzo stores, as well as Converse.com and select global retailers.
