Heritage, Sport & Luxury All Under One Roof.
Casablanca opened the doors to its first-ever flagship store in Paris last week, gracing the historic Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré – a street synonymous with global fashion and design. The store, located on a prominent corner in the prestigious 8th arrondissement is a the three-level retail space, housed within a monochromatic building in iconic Haussmann Lutetian limestone.
The store features high ceilings, and arched windows, all meticulously expressing Casablanca’s brand DNA: a fusion of past and future, Parisian elegance, cinematic flair, and a bold, forward-thinking vision. More importantly the store is a “homecoming” for Casablanca founder and creative director, Charaf Tajer, who was born in Paris and grew up in the multicultural Belleville neighborhood, raised by parents of Moroccan descent.
“When my parents came to France, my mother worked as a maid, so starting and building a fashion house went against the odds. Then, five or six years ago, I said, ‘I want a corner on that street’, and everyone said it was impossible, because all the corners are taken by the biggest brands. Opening this store is a huge accomplishment for us: like I’m coming back home, but more than that, bringing something greater to Paris than how I left it. It’s a sign of progress, and goes back to our purpose, which is always to inspire people.” —Charaf Tajer, founder and creative director, Casablanca.
Tajer and Brand Art Director Steve Grimes collaborated closely to craft a space that seamlessly blends heritage, luxury, and modernity with a strong emphasis on sport, particularly tennis, ultimately fusing classical and futuristic design to tell a timeless story.
Casablanca opened its Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré location on June 5th, 2025, with a second store set to open later this summer at 469 North Canon Drive in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
