Haider Ackermann has unveiled his second capsule for Canada Goose under the heritage label Snow Goose. Ackermann has reimagined the legacy of Canada Goose with a modern spirit that pushes the brand’s boundaries. Utility, movement and self-expression are the key elements of his new approach.
“I wanted to peel away the layers with this campaign — of clothing, of convention, of expectation – to resist the predictable. It’s a quiet rebellion,” says Ackermann. “The images are just a little disorienting; to make people pause and question their perceptions of what a collection for Canada Goose could look like, how it could be styled and photographed. We’re playing with beauty, with freedom.”
Key collection highlights include the Valor Parka, an uninsulated, workwear-inspired jacket designed for warmer weather. Others include the Edge Pant, Dawn Crew jumper, and Zephyr Jacket. Ackermann’s Snow Goose collection is now available on the brand’s website and will hit select stores on June 19th. Check out the campaign shots below.
