PAUSE Picks: Top Sneaker Releases of the Week

Supreme x Goodenough x Nike Air Force 1 Low

Supreme x Nike makes it’s long-awaited return, linking with Fujiwara’s Goodenough for a striking approach to the classic Air Force 1 Low. Think all-white leather, Supreme box logos, Goodenough laces, and an on-trend insertion of animal print on the cracked leather Nike Swoosh. This pair got the balance just right.

Dr. Martens Arcadia Rub Off Loafers

Love at first rub? Dr. Martens’ latest instalment of the Adrian Loafer is a sight to behold in more ways than one, and it only gets better with time. Our favourite take on the pair sees the Adrian Tassel loafer be reimagined with a rich black Arcadia leather that reveals more colour with every wear. In this case, a striking bolt of yellow reveals itself as the rub-off finish gets going, meaning each pair receives a wholly unique style of fading. As always. Dr. Martens’ signature silhouette maintains its traditional loafer style, with staple Adrian detailing such as a tassel and apron, a plain welt, and a signature DMS sole keeping its place. Dressing up is everyday now, btw.

Converse Chuck Taylor Dainty Ballerina

Did we need a Converse Chuck Taylor “Dainty Ballerina”? We’re not sure, but it’s here anyway. Joining in on the fun, Converse’s ever-iconic Chuck Taylor has been stripped down to what is essentially a sole unit and mini bow. A trend that’s here to stay.

Nike Clogposite

We think it’s about time the Nike Clogposite got a fair shake. The under-the-radar sneaker has been on the cusp for a year to two now, but we think this summer could be the year it cracks the code, especially considering the success of Nike’s Reactx slip-on. You won’t go wrong with this “Summit White” look.

Wales Bonner x adidas Karintha Lo

One thing about Wales Bonner, they like to take a risk. The Wales Bonner x adidas Karintha Lo “Earth Strata” certainly won’t be for everyone, but it will join the extensive list of collaborative WB x adidas entries. The low-riding minimalist sneaker takes away the domineering set of white adidas stripes and replaces them with dotted versions, bringing down the branding to the very minimum. The Miu Miu girlies will like these.
