Paying tribute to East Coast grit and golden-era hip-hop.
In a collaboration that fuses street heritage with skate history, Supreme has teamed up with Zoo York for Spring 2025, honouring the legacy of New York’s first major East Coast skate brand. Founded in 1993, Zoo York carved a new lane at a time when the skate world was dominated by West Coast influence, bringing NYC’s raw energy, graffiti roots and hip-hop culture to the global stage.
Central to that legacy is “The Zoo York Mixtape”, the 1997 skate video that defined an era. Directed by RB Umali, the film blended footage of East Coast skate legends like Harold Hunter and Jefferson Pang with freestyles by Method Man, Busta Rhymes and Ghostface Killah, capturing the uniquely New York rhythm of the streets.
Now, Supreme channels that legacy into a bold collection of apparel and accessories, including a football jersey, hoodie, baggy jeans, camp cap, and skateboard deck. With Spitfire wheels rounding out the drop, the capsule serves as both a throwback and a nod to Zoo York’s enduring influence.
Available from the 19th June, are you diggin’ it?
