But the highlight of this season was a chef-curated event on the 30th July, led by rising star in the Greek culinary world, Charis Nikolouzos. By the age of 26, he was already head chef at Athens’ legendary Dionysos, and later held roles in Santorini and at Athens’ 2 Mazi, while teaching the next generation of chefs at culinary schools across Greece. At The Ixian Grand & All Suites, Charis created a menu that was both narrative and sensory, concluding guests to leave the table, not only with an unforgettable experience, but with a deeper understanding and acknowledgment to the island’s history too.
