The presentation marks Demna’s first foray into the House’s Cruise universe, following a runway debut that already shifted the conversation around Gucci’s aesthetic direction. By staging this milestone in the city where global influence, finance and creative audacity collide, Gucci signals a future anchored in heritage yet propelled by reinvention. He’s not new to the city though, for Balenciaga Spring 2023 he took over the Wall Street building for the show, so we can expect it all.
