Classic in Every Sense of the Word.
This fall season, Levi’s and Barbour, two icons of functional design, have come together in a new collaboration. Both houses, rooted in more than a century of craft and durability, are launching a transatlantic collection that revisits their shared histories while opening the door to a new chapter of workwear design.
Meeting in the middle of Levi’s iconic denim signatures and Barbour’s waxed cotton expertise, the collaboration holds space for a conversation between the American West and the British coastline. The result is a tribute to design shaped by real function, and the shared love of workwear that has defined both brands for generations. The joint effort builds on the signature materials that define each brand’s identity. Barbour contributes its weather ready waxed cotton, a fabric known for developing a rich, lived in character with age. Levi’s brings its globally recognised denim, prized for the way it adapts and softens with the wearer. Together, these materials form the foundation of a focused collection of outerwear, apparel and accessories that balance heritage with fresh, contemporary expression.
The womenswear centerpiece is the Spey Wax Jacket, a reinterpretation of a Barbour classic in tobacco waxed cotton with a brown cord collar. Levi’s arcuate shaped pocket flaps, trucker style cuffs and Western inspired details bring subtle texture and movement to the piece. For menswear, the Bedale Jacket appears in two versions. One is cut in dark navy desert wax with Levi’s pleats and tartan lining. The second is a full denim workwear edition, finished with triple needle stitching and antique brass trims. Each piece in this collection tells its own story and reflects the shared belief that great clothes only get better with time.
Shot by filmmaker Tbone Fletcher and styled by Trino Yspsol, the campaign for this collaboration spotlights real makers. Furniture maker Andu Masebo, jewelry designer Ellie Mercer, ceramics artist Lev Rosenbush and sound system creator Shivas Howard Brown appear as the protagonists. Their work reflects the philosophy behind the partnership: a homage to the 10,000 hour rule and the time and patience that goes into making something by hand.
The Levi’s x Barbour collection is now available online and in selected stores worldwide.
