A skate shoe, but make it Louis.
Louis Vuitton has introduced the LV Tilted Sneaker – a low-top silhouette that first surfaced during the Men’s Spring-Summer 2026 Pre-Collection preview before hitting the runway properly for SS26. And yes, it’s already on my payday Spring wishlist..
At first glance, it reads classic skate: padded tongue, wide stance, flat rubber sole. But look closer and the proportions are slightly off, in a good way. The right and left soles are dimensionally equal, meaning the pair is initially interchangeable. Subtle design flex.
The “Tilted” name comes from the leaning LV logo stamped across the tongue, nodding to skate culture’s angles and motion. Underfoot, the outsole is molded with Monogram Flower motifs and the Damier pattern in high relief – heritage codes, reworked with weight and texture.
There’s a definite 90s undertone here. The topstitched upper and bracket-shaped leather panel feel lifted from archival skate references, while details like the VVN leather enchape between the toe and laces and a newly developed LV logo on the sole keep it firmly in Louis territory.
Where it gets interesting is fabrication. Think worn-in denim, colourful calf suede, woven Damier, plaid canvas, gem-embellished goat leather, embroidered finishes and Monogram stencil-rubbed treatments. It’s skate nostalgia, elevated – without losing the attitude.
The LV Tilted keeps it understated, letting proportion and texture do the talking. One for the comfort-and-style purists.
