Hardware vs Industrial.
Stone Island haw unveiled GHOST SS ’026, dialing its monochrome manifesto up another notch with a campaign fronted by actor Cha Seung-won and football icon Paolo Maldini. Rooted in the brand’s signature camouflage concept, the Ghost line strips everything back to a single tone while taking inspiration from the Californian workwear, grounding the collection in utilitarian codes reworked through a hyper-refined lens.
The highlights from this drop? The 100002 SPLIT LEATHER_STONE ISLAND GHOST jacket lands in Corteccia suede, cut from split bovine crust leather for a textured, hard-wearing surface with raw-cut finishes. Industrial detailing comes through via matching and contrasting hardware, a snap-fastened stand collar, layered flap and vertical snap pockets, an internal Compass-embroidered pocket and a concealed two-way zip closure.
On the technical front, the 4100080 BONDED LINEN-TC_STONE ISLAND GHOST field jacket fuses linen with an ultra-light nylon jersey backing, delivering structure while keeping the natural softness intact. This season sharpens the focus on fabric weight and tactility, building out a truly trans-seasonal wardrobe. At the core is Corteccia, a new seasonal shade inspired by the sand-worn grit of worker leather gloves. Garment dyed through a precise double-dye process and treated with an anti-drop finish, it features multiple pockets and a drawstring waist, making it a functional, architectural, and utilitarian drop.
