Founded in 1972, the event takes place twice a year—typically in January for Autumn/Winter collections and in June for Spring/Summer—serving as a key moment in the international fashion calendar. The 110th edition of Pitti Uomo is scheduled to run from 16 to 19 June 2026 at the Fortezza da Basso, continuing its tradition of presenting highly curated runway events alongside large-scale exhibitions of contemporary menswear. Known for hosting influential guest designers and landmark debuts, the fair remains a space where new creative directions in menswear are introduced and disseminated globally.
Within this context, Simone Rocha’s debut marks a significant moment, as she has been invited as a guest designer to present her first standalone menswear runway show during this June 2026 edition. Although Rocha has previously incorporated menswear into her womenswear presentations, this occasion represents the first time her menswear will be fully developed and shown independently on such a prominent stage.
