"Botanical Paradise".
Gentle Monster is back for the 2026 spring drop, and after their hyper-techno Tilda Swinton campaign, the brand is trading brutalist simulation for a full-on botanical fantasy. Titled “Bouquet,” the new collection pivots to the organic, drawing deep inspiration from the architecture of plant stems to create frames that look like they were grown rather than made. To launch the vision, the eyewear giant tapped FKA twigs and Jordan Hemingway to co-direct a campaign film set to an unreleased twigs track. The result is a surreal, dreamlike performance where the music and movement mirror a bud slowly unfurling into bloom, pure “dream logic” that keeps the brand firmly in its own lane of avant-garde storytelling.
The frames themselves are a masterclass in sculptural eyewear, swapping the sharp, heavy contours of the previous “BOLD” era for fluid loops, tangles, and botanical ties. The standout style is a total statement piece, featuring vibrant beadwork that winds along the temples like a luxury floral arrangement. To make the launch a global moment, Gentle Monster is rolling out immersive pop-up installations across six cities, transforming retail spaces into surreal gardens complete with oversized floral structures and reflective chrome statues.
If you’re looking to upgrade your rotation with something that blurs the line between accessory and art, the “Bouquet” collection drops on January 16 at gentlemonster.com and in flagship stores.
