Mugler Taps David Hoyle for Innovative SS26 Digital Series

By February 9, 2026FASHION NEWS

Mugler introduces its SS26 vision.

Mugler has unveiled a new digital series starring avant-garde performance artist David Hoyle, reinforcing the brand’s long-standing relationship with theatricality, camp, and radical self-expression. Launched in Paris, the short-form project places Hoyle in the role of both host and provocateur, guiding viewers through Mugler’s latest creative chapter.

The series centres on “The Wardrobe of Identities SS26 Pre-Collection, marking the first designs by Creative Director Miguel Castro Freitas for the House. Through sharp commentary and high-concept visuals, Hoyle explores Mugler’s architectural silhouettes and codes, framing fashion as a tool for transformation. Each episode focuses on a distinct idea of “how to wear Mugler,” delivered with an irreverent, unapologetic tone.

Blending performance art with fashion storytelling, the digital series is available now on mugler.com and in selected boutiques worldwide. Watch some of the shorts on Youtube here.
