Let’s face it, the unfortunate truth of the matter is that at the best of times, the RRP could make us and the bank balance RIP! Those jeans that you know would fit so well may not sit so well with your wallet. Or that really cool jacket from the latest SS14 collection that could leave you deciding between your look or your living essentials. However, that doesn’t mean to say we cant have a little peak at the high-end department every now and again. That’s why we here at PAUSE have compiled our Top 5 most luxurious pieces that for now, we can only dream of having.

2. Yohji Yamamoto Leather Belt Black Wool Trill Trousers – £790

3. En Noir Snakeskin Travel Bag – $4,825 ( Around £3,155)

The free thinking creatives down at Illustrated People have just released their AW13 collection featuring biblical references and neon graphics. The East London label has merged stained glass windows; a reference point, with digital prints and patterns.
The collections aim was to create unique textile imagery which they’ve managed to do by a clash of culture. By merging original drawings from African fabrics with abstract shapes and western architectural findings, they’ve created bright stand-out stained glass prints and kaleidoscope like African prints digitally remastered in new and exciting colours. Amongst Adam and Eve, The Sistine Chapel and other religious references comes more modern weed print chinos and shirts, a welcome addition to the brand who’s previous collections predominately consisted of Tee’s and jumpers.
To coincide with the launch, they’ve also released a short video called ‘Stained Glass Story’ reminiscent of the ‘Power’ video by Kanye West. The 1:47 second clip gives you a glimpse of the AW13 offerings with neon and symbolic visuals.
Having already been stocked at Topshop and Asos, expect big things from the Eastenders at the Illustrated People camp. We here at PAUSE especially love the black and white tee with the twig like print.
