Bottega Veneta Launches Short Film Centered Around Masculinity and Dress

Featuring the creatives that inspire Daniel Lee.

Enlisting a group of creatives, ranging from musicians to film directors, Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta has released a short film that explores the ever-changing meaning of masculinity in society and how clothing is a vehicle for expression.

Shot by photographer and filmmaker Tyrone Lebon, and Daniel Lee, the cast includes people such as the musician Octavian, dancer Roberto Bolle and artist George Rouy. It brings together the eclectic personalities that inspire Creative Director Daniel Lee and presents their shared interest in clothing.

This film does not focus on the clothing, which included casually tailored suits, brown dungarees and Lee’s knack for using alluring colours. Instead, it looks at the relationship these men have with clothing.

The film is available to stream from on Mubi or on the Bottega Veneta website. Watch the trailer below for a preview!
