What was something of the past has come back as something of the now. 90’s Retro OG Puma Trinomic XT1+ and XT2 Plus have once again caught up the competition as well as captured the attention of the ‘sneakerhead fandom’ and retro street style . As the fresh kicks did during its hey day the re-launch of the series showcased an exact replica including; bringing back the same colourway, all materials used and Trinomic motion control technology put into the thought process of construction. Function-wise this trainer collection holds up to the standard of high shock high energy absorption, enhanced extra forefoot cushioning and enforced stability. And a for style wise: they are adorned in materials and stand out hues to highlight some character into style.
Tuesday night saw the launch exhibition down in the abandoned space of Dalston Bunker, East London, to make merry the re-release of the classic Puma shoe. We at PAUSE took part to support and celebrate the Trinomic series.
Immersing the atmosphere with the displays of historic archive, protective cases, projections on walls, all around audio and a great deal of green trade mark PUMA boxes completed the green theme. This was followed on by a thriving rooftop party hosting over 200+ guests, pampering them with bangers by DJ’s Oli D.A.B & Robin, DJ Abstract, ShyFX and special performance by Ms Dynamite!
There were drinks, food and gifts around; the atmosphere truly was a strong impact of 90’s throwback.
