The FIFA world cup is coming up and to kick it off they are releasing Ducktopus T-shirts series in June. Prints with ducks and octopus, all inspired by animal oracle Paul the Octopus of the 2010 world cup fame.

Whatever position one has in life, it is recognised that gold hold a great value in people’s eyes. It symbolises one’s status in society and with its particular lustre, will never devalue. In fact its brilliance will only age with time and have a sheen that is even more alluring. Nowadays, gold is seen in jewellery rather than exchanged for monetary reasons as in previous civilisations.
Silver glow
Wearing silver is a much more everyday phenomenon as it is less expensive and can be more versatile than gold. It can be used from common goods to jewellery as well. There are down sides to this matter as it does become tainted in time and is dependent on the owner to care for it. Unlike gold, it does depreciate but is always affordable. Numerous designers have also combined both gold and silver together in one piece to satisfy the need for both levels of the everyday and the luxurious.
Timepieces
Whether you are a businessman or a more eclectic individual, there are notions about wearing a watch that are applicable to all: you will be attending meetings which will demand some classic attire. The quality of the watch and the shoes you wear, are the marks that state who and what type of person you are. However today, we have a much more unconventional approach whereby a more casual approach can be acceptable but the need to make a statement is still valid. There is an unspoken language between men in the boardroom towards presentation and the watch is a mark of that.
Digital versus analog watches
The wristwatch will need to have a band that is made of quality. Why not choose something that is both simple, elegant while representing your own personality and style.
Whilst the analog watch is seen as more formal it is actually more precise than the digital watch: this type is perhaps not ideal for the business environment as it is more suited to other milieus. Choose a well-made digital watch by a brand name that is reputable which can be versatile with khakis and loafers or a tweed jacket and jeans. The gold wrist watch can take a rest that day and the pocket watch can make a return.
Gold vs Silver
Overall gold seems to suit a warm toned skin and silver a more cool skin tone, in which case when you return from your holiday in Barbados, you can start wearing your gold piece until the tan fades. The general consensus is that gold is more seasonal than silver.
It is also worth noting that when the time comes, match the watch with your wedding ring. There has to be symmetry in these styles and should you wear cufflinks, then coordinate the look with the ring as you may also have another watch to select from, whereas there’s only ever one ring!
