Dr. Marten have just dropped their latest addition to their Spring/Summer 2014 collection with a beautiful one-off capsule collection of shoes, boots and satchels with the very iconic Hieronymus Bosch ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’ print.
Bosch was a famous Dutch painter known for his allegorical and fantastical paintings – all displaying rich moral and religious narratives and concepts. He is known for his surrealist paintings often depicting things like half-human half-animal creatures and grotesque demons.
Dr. Marten have drawn inspiration from his work, most notably his (triptych) three-piece ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’ to produce a print for their collection which they have put on their signature 3-eye shoe, 8-eye boots and two different satchels – all depicting different parts of the beautiful painting to create a truly eye-catching collection (in a good way).
You can buy the 3-eye shoe here for £110.
You can buy the 8-eye boots here for £130.
You can buy the rest of the collection at the Dr. Martens website here.
