The Antonio Marras Spring/Summer 15 collection at Milan Fashion Week played homage to former Italian footballer Gigi Riva.
As a tribute to the world cup and football, the collection included many samba enthused colours such as yellows and greens, combined with athletic materials mesh and nylon to create a sport inspired look.
Marras used many floral and striped jacquard patterns into their designs, used as a full trouser print and also used sparingly as detailing in jackets, blazers and open-collar polos.
The sport themed collection also sees the introduction of loose fit jogger trousers. These new trousers are paired with shoes, with the jogger cuff not looking out of place on the ankle.
Nylon also helped create interesting blazers, with royal navy nylon being used as arm panels on a red blazer, another sign of the sports influence in SS15.
Bright colours were a running theme throughout this runway show, with shades of silver being used on the inside panel of jackets and on a statement pair of shorts.
Accessories on the catwalk included a range of block colour gym bags.
