It’s a dark minimalistic world that Alexander Wang has created for the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2015 collection, featuring black, grey and blue hues.
A very quiet and understated take on menswear with a utilitarian feel, Wang has captured the essence of classic French tailoring mixed with his own urban streetwear spin. Though dark in nature, the collection uses luxe fabrics on basic pieces making every piece more desirable. Sharp lines with minimal details can be seen as the Balenciaga man seem to be in a dark place while doing some soul-searching.
This is one collection that is subtly cool, crisp, clean and quintessentially Wang.

Designer Guillaume Henry wanted to play homage to the hardworking blue collared workers in his Carven Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
You won’t be expecting anything loud in this collection. Everything seemed simple with clean lines and a relaxed fit while still looking sleek and polished. A very wearable collection that consisted of zip-up turtleneck and jackets, belted trench coats and subtle colour blocking shirts. Some of the shirts had a lean fit to them even with oversized boxy sleeves as Henry played with proportions in this collection. You’ll find the usual shades of grey, khaki, black, white and navy with a sudden bright orange and red making an appearance.
The collection had a sense of work wear functionality with a contemporary utilitarian feel.
