High-fashion meets prison wear was the agenda for the Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
Inspired by prison uniform, Simons showed long denim shirt on the runway as well as layered tank top and sharp tailoring with just enough quirks. Models walked down the runways with what looked like jail uniforms but with a Raf Simons twist with prints and ID badge paired with narrow trousers.
You can’t really see from the pictures but behind each jacket there were flaps with random images found such as a roller coaster, a shark fin, a koi fish, mountains and even an astronaut floating alone in space. Simons credits them as images that somehow showcased his dark past, making this collection a truly personal one. Something cool about the collection were the sneakers with flashing lights. You’re never too old to have some playful footwear.
