When two powerful brands collide.
Two companies with a rich history supplying the defence industries, have partnered together to create a collection of robust outerwear and footwear. Palladium Boots; a brand which originally made aircraft tires during WWI, and Alpha Industries who supplied military uniform for the Vietnam war, have created bold, utilitarian designs.
The collaboration has been described as a ‘natural fit’ by Michael Cirker, CEO of Alpha Industries. The line boasts six unisex boots in noted Palladium silhouettes: the Pampa Hi boot or ‘Pampa Hi Zip MA-1’ and the fold-over ‘Baggy Zip MA-1.’ Traditional Palladium features include a rubber toecap and rubber outsole, for rigidity and durability. The boots also draw upon Alpha Industries’ premium nylon flight jacket; full-length lateral zippers and co-branded ribbon tags reference the jacket’s zip closure and decorative elements. Presented in pitch black, forest green, dark teal and cranberry; the striking orange lining gives the boots a distinctive edge. A high quality MA-1 Flight Jacket is also on offer, comprised of the same colours.
The collection is available at Palladium flagship stores, select specialty retailers and online at www.palladiumboots.com and www.alphaindustries.com.
