Marcelo Burlon is back for Spring/Summer 2016 with renowned printing and graphics.
Decorated in an array of prints, patterns and graphics, Marcelo Burlon’s Count of Milan Spring/Summer 2016 collection provided the runway with a youthful, sporty edge. The brand’s iconic box cross is also featured on a series of garments, which now embodies the symbol for the Burlon subculture, where countless boys and girls pay homage to the brand by blanketing themselves in Burlon gear from head-to-toe.
The collection presented in Milan featured a selection of clothing, including tank tops, t-shirts, headdresses, ponchos, kilts as well as bombers, all embellished with an array of patterns and prints, including snakes and skulls. This strong graphic identity that Burlon has established was also unorthodoxly present on formal suits, showing the designers mettle against such boundaries. Trendy leather jackets, t-shirts and joggers were additionally put on show, which heed to the brands contemporary aesthetics.
