Following news of A$AP’s latest venture – the JWA AGE collection with J.W. Anderson – it appears that one designer collaboration is not nearly enough to satisfy 27 year old Rakim Mayers (yes, that is his real name.) He’s recently been dubbed the latest face in Dior’s Fall Winter 16 campaign, along with the likes of model Dylan Roques and actor Rod Paradot.
An artist like A$AP may be a relatively unconventional choice for Dior’s refined brand, however in a recent statement given regarding the collection, it appears he has just the right amount of “empowered masculinity.” Dior’s FW16 collection has yet to be released, however their current campaign images are enough to feed our insatiable appetites at PAUSE for the time being.
