Uniform of Great Hope.
Tobias Birk Nielsen debuted his first full collection ‘Uniform of Great Hope’ at Spring/Summer 2017 Copenhagen Fashion Week and now you can view it in full below. Nielsen’s inspiration for the collection comes from late 30’s Finland combined with take on fabric composition inspired by the scientific study of bacterial life. During the hand making of the collection, old fabrics were transformed through cold dying, latex washes and paint layering. Pieces include coats, shorts and T-Shirts with different textures and prints.
The campaign video reflects the ideologies of seclusion and loss of hope instilled throughout the collection and can be viewed above.
