The duo designers divulge the agenda for 2017.
Earlier in the year Public School designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osbourne announced they would be moving their brand towards a see-now-buy-now model and would thus be leaving the New York Fashion Week schedule. However, with their recent departure from DKNY, it appears this won’t be necessary after all.
The original reason for leaving the New York schedule was due to the DKNY and Public School shows being so close together that it was too stressful and emotionally taxing on the pair. “You put a lot of effort into it, and to do it again within a couple of days and be emotional again, it’s a lot,” Osbourne pointed out. But in light of recent events, it seems Osbourne and Chow feel they can reclaim their time slot on the schedule. And rightfully so!
