maharishi Showing-Off the Sub-Zero Fall/Winter 2017 Collection

By October 9, 2017Fashion News, Style

A peep at maharishi's AW17 lookbook.

maharishi have released their autumn/winter 2017 lookbook and the collection looks incredible. The striking visuals of the capsule were inspired by a range of Japanese and Vietnamese cultures, leading to graphics not only being hand-drawn, but hand-woven. The inspiration however doesn’t stop at the artwork, garments like ponchos and kimonos have been lifted straight out of the previously mentioned cultures and now dropped directly onto western streets, and we love it.

Personally, what I’m most drawn to in this collection is the variety of camouflage, with the ‘skyline ghost’ taking the cake. What really makes it stand out is that it has moved away from the more standard camouflage pattern, to one that seems almost inspired by graffiti.

Check out the lookbook photos and film below to get a better view. Then visit maharishi’s online store to pickup some pieces for yourself!
