LFWM: PRONOUNCE presented by GQ China Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection

In today’s slang to ‘throw shade’ is a term to describe derogatory behaviour, usually used when speaking of celebrity feuds such as Taylor vs Kimye. However, ‘throwing shade’ is precisely the expression to narrate how PRONOUNCE x GQ China Autumn/Winter 18 collection at London Fashion Week Men’s moves through the colour spectrum. Monochrome may be the simple palette that the brand chooses to open show on, however each look becomes increasingly more saturated with colour until the models are dressed in head-to-toe pastel tones. The ensembles of modern tailoring and mixed materials sequentially connect through transitional hues, smoothly taking the audience from the deepest of blacks to the most neutral of greens. Mingling relaxed and fitted styles, knits, plastics, loungewear and outerwear, represents the modern man and the necessity of having different outfits for different situations. Most notably, the look which paired a quilted baby blue coat with sporty grey trousers felt completely current, inspired by the trends of today.  Take a look at the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection below:
