A Longtime Friend of the Late Designer.
Further to reports that Virginie Viard would be stepping into the shoes of late fashion mastermind, Karl Lagerfeld, the luxury French label has since unveiled that longtime friend Eric Pfrunder will also be taking a leading role.
Understandably seeking to fill the very large shoes that Karl has left vacant, Pfrunder has been given the title of Artistic Director of Fashion Image. Both Chanel & its owners have pointed to the close relationship between the three that will inevitably allow both Eric and Virginie to continue the designer’s incredible legacy.
