Vegan Vans.
American skatewear label Vans recently announced their latest partnership with pro surfer Alex Knost with the release of two new archive styles reimagined for the contemporary dresser.
Turning to the brand’s archive pieces to bring the Costa Mesa native’s creative vision to life, the duo took on the Style 36 Decon SF and, most notably, covered it in a “bitter chocolate” vegan patent leather among other adaptations. Alongside this, Alex also turned his eye to the Sk8-Hi 138 Decon SF, giving it a dress blue makeover as well as a natural gum vulcanized sole and Vans’ UtlraCush insole to match the former.
