Best Dressed Men at the 2014 Emmy Awards

A look at the best dressed men at the 2014 Emmy Awards.

It’s not just the women at this years Emmy Awards that have scrubbed-up well for the major event. The men have turned it out in designer suits, ranging from classic old Hollywood styles, to more modern silhouettes.

Matt Bomer

When it comes to men’s suits, fit is key to being on either the worst dressed or best dressed list, and Matt Bomer, known for his consistent classic style, expertly rocks a well-fitted old school Tom Ford tux. The trousers fit perfectly, are the right length, and his blazer fits in all the right places.

Jack Antonoff

A more modern interpretation of the formal suit is a Prada design worn by lead guitarist of indie rock band Fun, Jack Antonoff; with the blazer fitted closer to the body, tapered cigarette-style trousers, and in a dark brown, Antonoff’s suit is a truly contemporary silhouette and style.

Ryan Sweeting

Now, if you want a suit that says, no shouts, ”I’m here!”, then look no further than tennis pro Ryan Sweeting, husband of Kaley Cuoco, star of The Big Bang Theory. His electric blue blazer stands out in the sea of muted blacks and browns that were worn by other stars on the red carpet.

Adam Levine

Finally, Adam Levine’s simple, stripped-back Prada suit was a knock-out at this years Emmy Awards. Rocking one of the biggest menswear trends of this year, the Air Tie, Levine looked dapper and formal. Fitted close into the waist, with trouser length and sleeve length perfect, this look is definitely a winner. Adam Levine gives people a lesson in effortless, well-tailored style.
