Taking to Mexico.
The creative duo, Art Comes First follows up their June art exhibition with a lookbook for its upcoming El Charro Negro Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
Taking to Mexico City, the Western-style collection sees the design duo flex their admiration for the Mexican culture as well as pay tribute to the Ranchero lifestyle, which is popular in the region. With a lineup of denim shirts, suede vests elevated with elaborate embroidery, as well as leather riding pants and fringed capes; the range follows up on the “Billism” collection while also drawing references from the African Cowboy sub-culture which is prevalent in Congo. Tapping Mexican photographer Julian Burgueno, as well as local models, the collection is rounded out with accessory pieces such as bolo ties, black cowboy hats, belts with embellished and must-have cowboy boots.
