All-Digital PFW.
Following much confusion in the week’s leading up to one of the most important events in the year’s menswear calendar, perhaps predictably, Paris fashion week men’s and following haute couture shows have officially been instructed to remain completely digital this season.
Announced today by The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the French fashion regulatory organisation advised all luxury label’s that the invitation of guests, press and associated industry individuals is strictly prohibited, following orders from the French police. While runway shows featuring models, once adhering to coronavirus guidelines, are permitted to be shown in order to be streamed live – these events must take place behind closed doors and without the attendance of any but essential individuals.
Paris Men’s Fashion Week runs from January 19 to 24 and the provisional calendar can be viewed here.
