Lil Nas X for EW.
As Lil Nas X’s star continues to rise, his latest magazine cover sees the American artist don a slew of expectedly on-point looks while touching on a range of topics from sexuality to music, fame and more.
More specifically, fronting the publication’s ‘PRIDE’ issue, the Texas Isaiah lensed images see Nas in sharp white suiting complete with equally sharp nails, plush turquoise furs, and flower crowns, to highlight a few. Having seen a notable incline in public attention, both positive and negative, since the release of his ‘MONTERO’ single, the interview also delves into dealing with online hate:
“I almost never want to start shooting at somebody who didn’t bring it to my doorstep, you know? But I kind of live for when somebody tries to get me and I’m ready to throw it back at them tenfold. Do I feel bad about it sometimes? Every now and then, but I feel less bad knowing that I didn’t start it. I try to never throw stones, but if somebody throws one at me, I’m throwing an entire house.”
