Virgil Abloh's Nike Air Force 1 returns.
In the latest release from Louis Vuitton, the highly-anticipated LV x Nike Air Force 1 is currently being auctioned via the Sotheby’s website. The collection will be available to bid on until February 8th- but not for your average price.
Being a recent part of the late great Virgil Abloh’s work, the LV x AF1 comes in a variety of vibrant colourways, with the shoes donning the classic Abloh signature style. This includes the staple quotation marks along the side and the LV monogram canvas.
Due to release in 2021, the unveiling of these sneakers was curtailed after the tragic passing of Louis Vuitton Creative Director, Virgil Abloh. After much speculation, the shoes have seen a release of sorts through luxury goods broker, Sotheby’s. Auction bids are starting at $2,000, and as of last week peaked at a massive $65,000.
