Lacoste have taken an unorthodox approach to fashion week and have unveiled their Autumn/Winter 2022 collection via an improvised lookbook.
Instead of the traditional runway-style show, Lacoste opted for a spontaneous photoshoot where their employees, family members, and colleagues displayed the new selection of pieces for this upcoming season in the elevator of the brand’s headquarters. The ‘Off Grid’ collection strays away from the traditional seasonal structure of runway shows and the mass level of consumption that comes with it during these periods by upcycling their new garments with older recycled pieces, in addition to utilising leftover fabrics and yarn.
With each piece being made out of unique recycled materials and pieces, the collection is only available if you contact Lacoste directly and request a piece of the limited stock. Some of the garments on display include upcycled tracksuit patch jackets, technical jumpers, and a limited-edition pair of sneakers made in collaboration with Helen Kirkum.
