In celebration of FILA's 110th Anniversary.
Sportswear giants FILA have tapped luxury brand Y/Project for Spring/Summer 2022 as the brand celebrates its 110th anniversary.
Y/Project has injected its signature luxury touch into some of FILA’s most iconic pieces and prints, taking the sporty vibe of the brand and redefining it into a collection centred on functionality and movement. As seen in an athletic promotional video, Y/Project have taken FILA’s archival material and reimagined it for a modern landscape, with some signature standout pieces including a pair of red tracksuit pants with adaptable button features, a white FILA tank top with a cutout chest, in addition to a black tracksuit top with overlapping FILA branding. Some additional pieces include a selection of FILA x Y/Project branded sweatsuits, crewnecks, and button-up shirts.
In a statement made via the Y/Project Instagram, brand designer Glenn Martens stated:
“I see this collaboration, really, as a marriage of Y/PROJECT’s experimental spirit and FILA’s innovative drive grounded in sportswear.”
